Members of St Peter’s Church have warmly welcomed a new priest to lead the congregation.
On Wednesday, March 26, Reverend Roderick Cosh was officially licensed and installed as St Peter’s new priest in charge. Bishop of Bristol, the Rt Reverend Vivienne Faull led the service.
Father Rod was welcomed by members of the church, representatives of church outreach programmes and the wider community of Filton.
Following the service, Fr Rod took the time to meet and greet the congregation.
Celebratory drinks and cakes were enjoyed by many who attended the historic ceremony.
Fr Rod will be in the parish for most Sunday services and will be leading morning and evening prayers on Mondays and Wednesdays.
